We are the fastest growing company dealing in houseware products in Zambia, having more than 50 outlets across the country. Apart from retailing the products through our retail network, we also distribute them to over 400 resellers across the country.

 

Our Story

We are the sole distributors of ARKAY products in Zambia. We offer a broad range of products at very competitive prices to our customers.

Our aim is to provide customers with pleasant shopping experience, offering them great products and fantastic value for money so that they visit us again and again..
Our customers are the reason for our success. We maintain strict control on our expenses so that we can keep the prices of our products as low as possible.

We sell a broad range of product categories, as you will see from our website. However, we focus on the key best-selling products within a category, at the very best prices.

 

Our Team

We have a strong management team that is tirelessly working towards the growth of the company. We believe in promoting local talent and have a team of more than 200 people at the end of November 2017 and we aim to increase our people strength by 50% in the year 2018. Each department is headed by committed and effective team leader. We are proud that all our employees have a “customer first” approach at work and we continuously thrive to exceed customer expectations.

 


Our Journey So Far…

 

2013 – Arkay Investments Limited was formed in the June 2013.Started full-fledged distribution operations at Lusaka, Kitwe and Chipata by
setting up depots at all the these three locations

 

2014 – Achieved a customer base of over 400 resellers selling our products across the country.

Opened the first retail outlet in Kitwe (Sept 2014)

Closed the year with 5 fully operational stores

 

2015 – Started our first stores in Central & Northern Province in Q1

Achieved over 50% growth in sales revenue(YoY)

Added various kitchen accessories and other products to the existing range

Closed the year with 18 stores

 

2016 -Introduced mattresses at all the outlets

Entered into strategic tie up with a local manufacturer to sell aluminum pots and
pans at all our outlets

Achieved over 50% growth in sales revenue (YoY)

Closed the year with 28 stores

 

2017 – Introduced stationary products to the existing range of products

Added educational toys and other toys to the product range

Closed the year with 45 stores
